چکیده
Here, Turkish human hair fibers were used as a carbon source at the synthesis of hair-sourced activated carbons (HHC). During HHCs sodium carbonate (Na2CO3) was added to process for an elevated activation by calcination different temperatures. Then obtained utilized modification paste electrode evaluate supercapacitance performance this HHC. Electrochemical investigation HHC modified electrodes have been carried out employing differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), cyclic (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurements. The pore surface properties chemical structure investigated scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Brunauer-Emmett Teller (BET) analysis Raman spectroscopy. displayed Type-IV isotherm, which indicates existence micro-mesoporous on surface. Carbonization waste performed improve facilities three temperatures (200-250-300 °C). sample named HHC-250 (HHC calcinated 250°C) exhibited best charge storage capacity when electrode, among other with 26.88 F g−1 specific capacitance value (in 6 M KOH scan rate 100 mV s−1). Also, very attainable stability achieved from after 1000 cycles. presented system energy density 3.73W h kg−1. This work can serve guideline optimizing like biomass-derived matching their detailed investigations.

Electrochemical Performance of Carbon Nanotube Based Supercapacitor
Carbon nanotube is one of the most attractive materials for the potential applications of nanotechnology due to its excellent mechanical, thermal, electrical and optical properties. In this paper we report a supercapacitor made of nickel foil electrodes, coated with multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) thin film using electrophoretic deposition (EPD) method. Chemical vapor deposition method was ...
متن کاملCoaxial fiber supercapacitor using all-carbon material electrodes.
We report a coaxial fiber supercapacitor, which consists of carbon microfiber bundles coated with multiwalled carbon nanotubes as a core electrode and carbon nanofiber paper as an outer electrode. The ratio of electrode volumes was determined by a half-cell test of each electrode. The capacitance reached 6.3 mF cm(-1) (86.8 mF cm(-2)) at a core electrode diameter of 230 μm and the measured ener...
متن کاملControlling porosity in lignin-derived nanoporous carbon for supercapacitor applications.
Low-cost renewable lignin has been used as a precursor to produce porous carbons. However, to date, it has not been easy to obtain high surface area porous carbon without activation processes or templating agents. Here, we demonstrate that low molecular weight lignin yields highly porous carbon with more graphitization through direct carbonization without additional activation processes or temp...

A rapid microwave-hydrothermal method has been developed to prepare monodisperse colloidal carbon nanospheres from glucose solution, and gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) are successfully assembled on the surface of the colloidal carbon nanospheres by a self-assembly approach. The resultingAuNP/colloidal carbon nanosphere hybridmaterial (AuNP/C) has been characterized and is expected to offer a promis...
متن کاملCobalt monoxide-doped porous graphitic carbon microspheres for supercapacitor application
A novel design and facile synthesis process for carbon based hybrid materials, i.e., cobalt monoxide (CoO)-doped graphitic porous carbon microspheres (Co-GPCMs), have been developed. With the synthesis strategy, the mixture of cobalt gluconate, α-cyclodextrin and poly (ethylene oxide)₁₀₆-poly (propylene oxide)₇₀-poly (ethylene oxide)₁₀₆ is treated hydrothermally, followed by pyrolysis in argon....
